California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer Matthew Hang was in Sacramento County riding on the roads on Thursday evening when he saw an injured owl that needed his help.
Officer Hang removed the injured owl from the road until officers of the Sacramento County animal control came to take the injured owl to be taken care at the facility.
The police officer is being praised for his compassion dealing with an injured owl while he was on the clock.

Not only did he stop, he took it to the animal sanctuary too. I hope it recovered fine.
