A girl in Oregon has a close encounter with a coyote in Oregon

Charlie Schmidt who is the father of a four year old girl who did not give out her first name saw a coyote in her backyard in Portland Oregon on Saturday October 12 was in the company of his daughter when they saw a coyote chasing his daughter who managed to use her wits to climb a plastic picnic table. The coyote decided to decided to flee the home by walking away down the driveway unharmed. Charlie is thankful that the coyote decided not to harm his child. Link is kutv.com/news/offbeat/d...

good thing that the girl knew what to do to escape it. knowing me as a child (and maybe now too) - i would try to make that coyote our family pet

I remember running into two coyotes in my backyard when I was fifteen. The cows and the bull’s eyes got huge (they were also in my backyard), but the coyotes passed me with no trouble.

There are so many wild animals coming in to the residences houses in your place. I hope everyone is always okay about it and none of the animals and people are hurt always.

The girl was lucky and resourceful to climb onto the table and away from the coyote. Coyotes are becoming more aggressive these days, due to their becoming used to being around humans, and so they can be a real threat to humans, these days too.
