Plan B at my house. Anita won´t come to work.

Anita called me and told me that she wasn´t feeling well. She won´t come to work today. I am very much worried about her. I do know that she has cancer (again) but she doesn´t know what´s next. She had surgery in her lung a couple of months ago and she is taking what she calls some pills while the doctors make several tests. I do know that with her basic health insurance she has to have a big illness if doctors make such fuss about her and she has immediate appointments for PET scans and the like. But she is both optimistic and ignorant and I won´tsay anything that might worry her. I only tell her that she can work only if the doctors let her. And if they don´t and she is bored at home, she can call me and come to lunch but not to work. Today she was feeling as if she had a cold. And she was coughing over the phone. I don´t know how dangerous that is if you just have had a lung surgery. I don´t have much to do here. I have some pots to clean and I´ll make a light lunch. Yesterday I asked Mario to fill the big bag of food for Luna at the terrace because I can´t do it and Anita shouldn´t do it either. He did it in a jiffy. I still have some baked trout in the fridge. I´ll boil a couple of potatoes and will make a green salad. That will be all. The only other important thing I have to do today is to cream my face and be happy that the cheeks are getting softer.
