As usual, Claudia changed the time she is coming. / myLot

I have a list of the people I know that change the hour of arriving. Among them is Claudia who is always late. It seems that she is only taking me to vote and she won´t come later for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. I have accepted that so I don´t mind. Dixie and Humberto are also late always. But now they call me whe they are leaving their house when they come to pick me up. Then I have time to close the laptop and check again what I´m taking to their house. When I stay at their house, sometimes Dixie calls for lunch at 6 or 7 pm.

But I´m family so I go into the fridge and get olives, nuts and bread. I make a nice lunch and Dixie´s lunch is my dinner. Do you know people who are always late?

I used to. I was always early and would have to wait and wait for her. I think they need to organize their time better.

Once I unvited Dixie and Humberto to a barbecue with baby back ribs. I had made myself the sauce. As time went be I turned them and painted them many times. When they arrived, the ribs had no fat at all. Dixie said later that they were the healthiest ribs she had had

Vince's sister is always late. If she is running on time, she'll find something to do to make herself late! lol

Dixie has always believed that days have 48 hours. She crams too many activities in her days, even now that she can barely walk.

My best friend, Naomi, is always late, and she can be hours late. I remember twice getting up early to take her to get her car fixed, and she wasn’t even out of bed when I arrived. It’s very rude to do it over and over, but she is such a sweet friend I overlook it. But oh how I wish she wouldn’t make it such a regular habit!

I think that you have to accept people as the are. Dixie is not rude. But she has no idea of time and is always having more activities than she should. So when she can rest, she does it. Last time I stayed there, we had lunch at 7 pm. Fortunatly I´m family so I raided the fridge while they rested.
