The new homebound student was a no-show

She has been out of school for a couple of weeks but the approval for the homebound tutoring just happened today. Apparently the guidance secretary took it upon herself to develop a schedule and put me for Monday from 3-4. This mother and student duo are known to be "difficult" so the secretary called the mother to make it clear that tutoring would start today.
I logged in for 10 minutes and she never showed. Okay. That's an easy $45. As I always tell the secretaries--keep 'em coming!

That is the best part for you since you still get paid but certainly a loss for the student,

Guess thease kids think if they don't have to go to school they don't have to do the work.

Don't you just love "difficult families"?

What happens to the no-show? Does that count as an absence?

So many students today don't seem to care about an education. It's sad. Have a good day.
