One of the good online work perks is that I do not waste my time while waiting for my student to enter the class. For the reason that I can be here. If it is an offline thing, I really cannot bear waiting for someone or something to start. It will definitely trigger my mood swing. Now I am hoping that she will not attend the class.
Can you wait for someone or something for a long period of time?

It depends. When I was young I am so patient, but as I get old, I become so impatient even on other things.

Like you I dislike wasting time. I am very task oriented probably too much, but anything or anyone who disrupts my planning or if something takes too long to accomplish, I find that extremely irritating.

I do not think no one would like to wait whether it is online or in physical world. Definitely it is waste o time. However, we cannot get frustrated because of that and have to make the best of time. Either we mylot or learn or read or call some of the old friends. Make the best of the time available. True , online , you have options to do a few other things compared to offline as you could do other things without bothering too much. I have waited long time while calling Government agencies and have absolutely hated it. Well, recollect few times I am cancelling meetings as team did not join even after 10 minutes. Well, got to live with patience!

I dislike wasting time, and it surely hits differently when it's someone else's fault.
I mean, I waste a lot of time on my own already.
It's cool to stay productive while waiting, it is not always possible but if you can, that's great.

if i know in advance that there's a chance that i'll have to wait for something or someone - i'm fine with it, i can wait.
but i don't like "unexpected" waiting, like when the bus is late, or when there's only one cashier and then she needs to go somewhere to find "the code" or the thing someone wants. that can be annoying
