I just looked out my window by my desk and saw two does galloping at break neck speed through the field across the street from me.
Over the years I have lived here I have deer often in that field. At the side furthest from me is a highway. and a few trees.
The direction they were running will likely take them to a field that houses a utility transformer, behind fences and lots and lots of red cedar trees.
I have wondered and wondered just what lives in those trees. I think I have seen a bobcat or two. Lots of bunnies, and I do believe it is a type of shelter area for deer passing through.
These few minutes as the sun rises bring lots of wild life out.

I haven't seen as many of them this year as I usually do. However, I do hear them sometimes at night or in the early AM if the windows are open. They are definitely around.

My animal sightings are mostly restricted to birds, squirrels and free-range cats and dogs.

When I was not working outside of the home I kept bird feeders to watch from my desk. I had a flicker take over a bird feeder and just roll around.

That is beautiful to see but for me it would also be scary. I´m a city person.

I have grown up around cities, but mostly in the suburbs. My daughter, in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN had Canada Geese that visited her bird feeder and wild turkeys once strolled through her yard sale. She has moved further out and more north. She saw a ground hog last week and they have seen bob cats, chipmunks, squirrels and deer that I know of.

I only look from the street at the trees. One fall evening it looked as if every tree in the group had a crow perched on top of it. I hesitate to go into the trees, not knowing what might be there. We have had coyote, fox, and other things in our yard.

I see them around the wooded area where I live. Sure hope no bobcats are here.

They likely are, but really are not interested in bothering people.

Deer are nothing to be afraid of, unless you hit one while driving.

Opossums are fun. Not as nasty as people say they are. My husband likes them.

@GardenGerty only problem is that my opossums are spoiled by getting some leftovers from me and when I don't have anything to put out they push the bowl on the porch so it knocks against my front door reminding me there is no food

I’m assuming it’s not a public area you can roam and see what animals live there for yourself?
