Using up some wool

From time to time over the years, I’ve been crocheting beanies for premature babies. I give them to my sister-in-law who gives them to a friend who takes them to the hospital. I have about six balls of baby wool that I’d got from an op shop (thrift store) and I was starting on more beanies when I got a message saying they had more than enough beanies and thank you, but don’t sent any more.
I decided to use the wool to make a baby’s shawl. It’s a bit smaller than some shawls but still big enough to be useful. I judged the size very well as I had to unpick one beanie to get enough wool to finish the shawl. It’s a pretty colour but being blue, I guess it’s only really suitable for a boy. I particularly like the edging.

When India was out for 150 in the first innings, I was feeling dejected.
Yet both the Indian bowlers and batsmen made a tremendous comeback.
Beating Australia at their home and at venues like Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne is no mean feat.
That too with a 295 run margin!
Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja, Labuscghane and the new player McSweeney did not bat well.
Next match at Adelaide could however be more closely contested.

It is a day and night match with a pink ball.
Something that is said to favor the Australian bowlers.
Yet one can never underestimate the other team.
Have a nice day ahead !

@Dreamerby I could but I don't. They're too fiddly for me to enjoy doing.

@jobelbojel I used to sell a lot of crochet work some years ago. There doesn't seem quite as much demand for it nowadays.
