Happy Wednesday everyone! it's sunny here this morning but the weather will be changing later tonight and into tomorrow. Looks like a nasty day for our Thanksgiving.
My big plans for today is pretty much making side dishes to bring tomorrow. So far I have breaded and fried cauliflower, turnips, broccoli cheese bake and an apple crumb pie on my list of what I'm bringing.
My daughter only has to work until 1pm today so after we have lunch we'll tackle the cooking.
It's nice not to have to cook for the whole holiday. My oldest daughter took over when she got married almost 27 years ago. She carried on most of our family traditions and also added in some from her husbands family.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. The only thing that beats Thanksgiving is Christmas
For all who are celebrating I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and safe travels.
For everyone else, I wish you all a wonderful day and hope you have something to smile about.

I'd rather do side dishes than have to cook that turkey for hours.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks, its been a bit busier than I need, tomorrow I will stay home and stay in my nightshirt until I finish that second cup of coffee and will just kick back and relax. As much as I love Willow and Harper, they require alot of attention and care still, and I need some quiet downtime.

Happy Thanksgiving. I can feel the excitement and the warm feeling of your thanksgiving celebration.
I hope you guys enjoyed.
I really love the old days when everything is simple, when Chritmas is coming the house of my grandma is very much alive special on the day before Christmas, when everyone is busy cooking and cleaning the house, all my dad's siblings are there and all my cousins are there too.
We are busy playing while the oldies are busy preparing for the Christmas Eve.

You have such good memories and I'm sure your grandma is smiling knowing how much you all enjoyed the festivities. My best Christmas memories were also spent at my grandmas

I kind of think the sides are better than that big old turkey
