Eight foot snake located on a toad in Maine by a police officer

York County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) Deputy Jonathan Marshall answered an emergency call from a person in Shapleigh Maine on Friday November 15 that a snake was seen on Shapleigh Corner Road which was causing anxiety to the persons living in the area.
Officer Marhsall managed to pick up an eight foot boa constrictor from the ground to his squad car to take the snake to the Maine Warden Service after he managed to get the snake out of the cold temperatures where the employees at the animal shelter can locate the owner of the boa constrictor.

I hope he put that snake in the boot of his car, and not loose on the backseat, as it might have reared up, and choked him, while he was driving it to the Maine Warden Service.
