I have tried to tell sports fans not to take the admiration of football fans who cheer for a team other than the team you root for since football games are our entertainment.
A Green Bay Packers fan named Joesph De La Rosa attended a San Fransisco 49ers fans organization party in Green Bay on Sunday when Joseph who was wearing Packers jersey colors was denied winning a Christian McCafferty autographed football.
When the word got out that Joesph was denied a prize he won legitimately at the party via social media of the injustice that Joesph went through by having the San Francisco 49ers sent Joesph an autographed helmet from another 49ers football player, Packers fans sent Joesph footballs as well as Packers quarterback Jordan Love sending Joesph who is an eighth grader at Franklin Middle School in Green Bay an autographed football jersey.
Joesph is happy that football fans of both the Packers and 49ers were able to correct the rejection of winning a prize that he earned for wearing his team's color in the rival party.

@celticeagle Be respectful of your opponent. The best way to enjoy a game.

I am in agreement with you that Joesph received gifts from both fan bases after he was shunned by 49ers fans in Green Bay.

I am in agreement with you since when a person wins a prize fair and square, give him or her their prize.

That is true since I understand why teens like their local sports team a lot.

I wonder why they didn't give him the football? It was nice of the 49ers and Packers to send him an autographed item.

I guess the persons in charge of the 49ers party did not like someone wearing the colors of their rival team winning a prize that they won fair he won fair and square.

I agree with you since some people take sports too seriously and fail to respect the fan base of other teams.

It is a dangerous, and provactive thing, to do to attend a rival club's party, and wear another club's jersey.
He could have been treated even more badly than that, as I remember when as a kid, I did something similar, and went into the grandstand of one club, and started cheering for the rival club.
A hefty drunk supporter of the club whose grandstand it was picked me up, and threatened to throw me over the grandstand balcony, until my brother pleaded on my behalf, that I was not quite right in the head. He finally let me go then, with a clip over the ear, only.
It is good that some things have changed since then, and that that boy was compensated, but even so, it was still a rather reckless thing to do, and he should not have worn that rival jersey in there on that day.

That is true since wearing the colors of your favorite sports team in an rival\s area is dangerous.
