It's called Nomu Mayo Japanese are really creative when it comes to this unique kind of drink. A convenient store in Japan have been test selling this mayonnaise drink since November. I wonder if the people there are actually liking it.
I love Japanese mayonnaise. They're much tastier. But a mayonnaise drink? I would probably try it but not quite sure I'd be liking it. It's being sold for a $1.30 for 200ml.
So, would you give it a go?

I don't think I would care for a mayonnaise drink. Have a good day.

This reminds me of a memory. There's a dish which is commonly made in Indian households. It goes by the name "Baingan ka bharta" - mashed brinjals and theres like a whole recipe for that burning it adding tomato chili spices and there are other parts to the recipe I don't know. It sounded and looked ridiculous when I first tasted it as a nursery kid but once I tasted it, I fell in love with the dish!

I dont' think you would. It's still undergoing test selling and it's exclusively being sold at Lawson in Japan.

It's too thick. The Nomu mayo is liquid though that tastes like mayonnaise.

The texture is similar to mayonnaise dissolved in water. But the taste isn't a diluted mayonnaise.

@toniganzon Kind of sounds like an odd lemonaid.

I don't think I could even taste it. I like mayo on a few things, but I don't want to drink something that tastes like it.

@MarieCoyle I love mayonnaise as a condiment and a dressing, but not sure I'd like it as a drink. However, I wouldn't hesitate to try it.

I wouldn't. Mayonnaise is sauce. I don't think I would like it as a drink.

The noms drink is not a sauce. It's a liquid drink that tastes like mayonnaise. Not a real mayonnaise. That would be too thick to drink.

@toniganzon I don't think I would like to taste something similar to mayonnaise as a drink. I would put it on fries and eat it maybe

@Dreamerby The dip is what you use for the fries. The drink would make your fries soggy.
