Lineman in Tennessee and police rescue a puppy who was injured

A lineman from D****son County Electric System named Todd Garton came to the rescue of a puppy that was pleading for help while Todd was working to restore a line on Tennessee Highway South 48 on Wednesday.
Todd contacted the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) to assist him to rescue the puppy that was injured and needed help.
THP Officer Dean Carlew along with Todd and some neighbors who were in the area managed to get the puppy out of danger.
After the puppy was rescued, the puppy was transported to animal hospital where the puppy is being treated for his or her injuries.
I just hope that the puppy was not abandoned by his or her owner when the lineman found the injured puppy.

That looks like a big puppy in the picture, and it was kind of the lineman to rescue it and ensure it received proper treatment.

Aww I feel so bad for the puppy. I hope he recovers quickly and is adopted.
