Durham County Rescue Mission CEO Rob Tuft was saddened to see the damages of Asheville North Carolina when Hurricane Helene damaged the area that his employees of the same charity group decided to visit AC Reynolds High School on Friday December 20 by having a tractor-trailer bring toys to the hurricane victims as well as have his employees cook meals for the hurricane victims.
The persons who did receive a meal are really grateful that the Durham County Rescue Mission volunteers made their holiday season even better this year.

Showing compassion, and helping others in distress, is a big part of the Christmas message, and spirit too. Thanks for the feel-good story at this time of year.
