Don't Talk to Strangers!

I have been listening to a video about the worst scams for 2024. The worst being USPS where you get an email saying there is a problem with a delivery due to a bad address. But, a new one is them gaining information from you by calling and just having a conversation with you. And, the clincher is them talking to you just long enough to get enough verbal responses to set up an AI of you. Then they can call banks and see if you have an account and extract money.
More and more it seems sad that we can't even talk to people on the phone. You can't trust anyone anymore.

Yes, we must be very careful. I don't usually answer my phone unless I know who it is.

I don't either. But some people answer the phone without thinking or looking to see who it might be.

If whoever is calling me isn't in my phone directory, it is labeled as spam and blocked by the phone company. I don't talk to numbers I don't know.
