Tea is undoubtedly one of the most popular beverages consumed worldwide, but how many tea drinkers are aware that tea bags can release not so healthy particles into their cup of tea.
Yes indeed, studies show that one teabag can release 11billion microplastics and 3 billion monoplastic particles into a cup of tea.
Tea bags are convenient but l will go with tea leaves from now on.

I haven't had tea in years but I thought the bags were made from paper. I might be mistaken, though.

I'll take my chances because I make a jug of iced tea to drink and keep it in my fridge, The bags I use have paper,
