A bit of an improvment.

I'm still tired from lack of sleep. But I'm also happy that things inproved some from this morning. The sun did come out and I did get george off the couch and dry. The couch was wet where he'd been lying, but not near the extent I thought it would be. It's cold in our grage, which likely feels colder than outside because of it's onstruction. I was only out there a couple of seconds, but I could really feel it. It was like night and day. Our heat deffently works.

Just stay out of the colds, its not really good to feel unwell in that kind of weather. God bless and

We are in for a long, long very cold period up here. We will not get above freezing, or near 32, for two weeks. The low tonight is supposed to be 12, but it's already 10 degrees, so it will be colder.

Our weather is up and down. And I know 58 is pushing it but I can't risk waiting a week and hoping conditions improve to be comfortable. The thing is this cold snap will eventually run its course and we'll see conditions inprove.

@MarieCoyle It felt pretty good to us, too. The wind outside waiting for our ride home, was not fun at all. But, because we did an emengerncy walk-in appoitment, we didn't leave until well after they "closed".

I have a four pack that I rotate when he sleeps in bed, but even folded they don't fit the couch.

@shaggin Yeah, they are. OUr couches are kind of narrow. Barely to fit one of us on them streached out. And, George rotates from sitting on it like a chair, and laying simi upright like a bed.

I think a lot has to do with the fact he stayed there and his body heat helped dry it up. Hate to say. I also have it layered under him so when I cleaned it up the underpadding I was using was soaked.

Glad to hear you can keep warm, In the late afternoons when the sun leaves I put on my space heater so the front room is warm for sleeping, The cats seem to be adjusting to all this and Tish sleeps in the window next to my PC when the sun is out, I hope you both have a better evening and can get some sleep

No. we live in a nice siz-ed house with a one and a half car garage. The garage is where the washer, dryer, hot water heater and van are located. And, yes when I have to go out there in the winter, you can feel the difference.

Seems like everyone is having a colder-then-usual winter. And, you kind of have to freeze or pay the bill. I'd pay the bill.
