Police in Wyoming rescue a cat trapped in a chimney

Two Powell Wyoming Police officers responded to an emergency call from a staff member of the Northwest College Foundation's House where the concerned party heard a cat crying for help while the cat was inside of a chimney. Powell Police Sergeant Dustin DelBiaggio and Officer Isaac Gutierrez teamed up on Thursday December 19 to rescue the cat who was inside the chimney by tempting the cat to get lower down the chimney so that the two police officers managed to rescue the cat with Officer Gutierrez to rescue the cat and get the cat out of the danger zone safely. The owners of the cat did get the good news that the cat who had been missing for about a week when they got word that the cat had entered through a fireplace and climbed a chimney. The owners of the cat were on vacation when the cat was rescued. The owners of the cat will reunite their pet when they return from their Christmas vacation at a local animal shelter. Maybe, that was a soot covered cat after that. I hope they brushed the cat down a bit.
