My favorite is the shells with fresh tomatoes and all the other spices I throw into it. Of course topped with Parmesan cheese if we have it is great. I also love fresh made garlic bread. What is your favorite or economical pasta dish?

Kluski and ketchup. (Polish dish). You just boil some noodles, fry them up in butter, and then add ketchup while they’re still in the pan. Xx

Lasagna is the only pasta hubby will eat, and he prefers it be mine. It is not initially economical, except I make so much of it we have meals frozen and ready. Per serving it can be economical. Especially if you add a lot of vegetables like spinach to help stretch it.

I used to make stuffed shell pasta too, but haven't done it in a while. I would make up a bunch and freeze them individually and then put them into freezer bags for quick meals, I gave our son some because they liked the idea and they loved them.

I make something I got from a cookbook decades ago - something like "Empty Cupboard Pasta". Make pasta, drain water, put pasta back in the pot. Melt butter over hot pasta. Add garlic powder, black pepper, and dry basil. Then mix in a lot of grated parmesan. That's it!

That would be a very appetising meal. I could eat a lot more pasta that we do but Vince isn't very keen on it.

We share a love for tomatoes and pasta . I like penne pasta with tomato sauce. One of my favourite . Cheese would be great , in fact Parmesan cheese would be great to have. I am ok with or without spices. Again , I too love to have the penne pasta with garlic bread. I have tried having with the pasta with a variety fo things including pizza (Yes , I am weird with my food combinations !) but then with garlic bread , thats the best way to have the pasta. According to me penne pasta with tomato sauce is very economical . In fact ,most restaurants have this option . Have a great weekend ahead!
