16 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from warm Green Bay, Wisconsin. Yes, warm. We're sitting at 34 F. After a week of temps in the single digits and below for the lows, 34 is warm. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I'm going outside tomorrow to walk instead of the halls here.
That said, it's been a good day.
I'm thankful I have all my steps. My theory about not using my foot cycle is a bust. I'm still having trouble moving, especially when I do a lot of walking at one time. So, I'm breaking up the walking as much as I can. Today it wasn't possible to do that and my back is hurting, but it's a good hurt because I have my steps. I'll get my last round of steps in a few minutes for the Fitbit. I'm over 10K on the Fitbit and over 8K on my Google Fit and pedometer app.
I'm thankful for Canasta today. We played the game we made up for a double Canasta we call the Funner Game. There were six of us and we need six people for this version. We play two teams. My team lost both games.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe when I got back from Canasta. It's coming along.
I'm thankful for my friends, physical and virtual. You have an important place in my life. I love reading about your life.
I'm thankful for a friend who moved out and came by and left a card on my door while I played Canasta. She had many pictures in the card. She's such a wonderful friend.
Okay, that's my day. I don't feel like I did a lot, but I have a lot to be thankful for. How about you? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. My friend and me at my birthday last summer.

I'm thankful the day warmed up nice. I was in shorts and a t-shirt and sweating on my front porch. That's a good day.

@just4him Ne, too. Winter is one of the worst when it comes to up and down temps.

Wow, did we ever wear short sleeves? It's been so cold lately, and even colder next week Grateful, I think I have gotten all the packages I ordered and got m mom's birthday presents mailed off

Sounds like another full, but good day there. That is good about the weather. Here it was nice too in the low 40s. 8-10k steps is really great, a lot more than I get for sure. I need to walk but my back and legs don't allow me to walk very far.

I'm thankful for the beautiful day here: blue skies, sunshine, and warm weather!! We got up to 63 F today! I did all the outside chores feeding and then did a bit of yardwork picking up limbs. We had plenty limbs piled up so burned some trash while outside.

I’m thankful my dad was able to come by and take four bags to the dumpster. I can’t carry things that heavy down the stairs. Thankfully, he had some time before he left for an auction. I’m also thankful some free things I was expecting came today.

I am thankful for being completely occupied till midnight. Sometimes being busy keeps you away from your other worries. I am grateful to explore the opportunities before me and understand them. I am grateful to clear some of the items from my to do list. Well , thats a small relief. It is the first time happening this year. There could be days when we are doing less but still there is a feeling of being peaceful and calm even if not happy. That is something many would like to have. Well , seem you had a good time especially with your friend coming around. Have a wonderful day ahead.
