Former Beatles drummer Sir Ringo Starr who is on tour to promote his newest compact disc called Look Up which is going to be a country and western genre on Tuesday February 21 2025 for the first time in his musical career as part of the Grand Ole Opry 100 year anniversary.
Ringo was attending a concert by his friend Emmylou Harris on Tuesday when Emmylou asked the legendary artist to perform at the Grand Ole Opry next month which Ringo accepted the invitation onstage.
It is odd that a former Beatle who is still alive along with Sir Paul McCartney released a musical recording of country music and being invited to the Grand Old Opry to perform music in Nashville Tennessee.

I have played Ringo's recordings with his All Starr Band in the past. They are good shows.

He is not too old, at 84, to try country music, and he might be good at it.
