But actually not for me. I enrolled myself for learning Italian language and it will start on Tuesday next week.
We are now living nearby an adult education school and so I was thinking of refreshing my Italian language which I mostly have forgotten. I learned it before the millennium. It was too long ago, before I traveled to Rome, Milan and Florence.
I have an Italian friend who invited me and our friends to go to Sicily, my friends home. I met her mother and sister (who came to visit her last Christmas) and their Italian friends who are living in Germany. So it would be nice to communicate with them in Italian. When we celebrated Christmas together, it was fun but her mother couldn’t speak English or German. So my Italian friend always translated to her mother what we talked about.
I am motivated to learn another language. What are you motivated for learning?
Thanks for reading and have a nice weekend.

I have noticed that German language was spoken when my friend and I went to Zürich last year. It was easy for us to communicate in German. We were glad we know how to speak German. Actually, German is our daily language here. When are you going back to Italy? Thanks @LadyDuck. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wow! Spanish as well. That is good @BACONSTRIPSXXX. I suppose it is not hard to learn Portuguese as it is a bit similar to Spanish. Thanks for commenting.

I wanted to learn French and Chinese. I have always wanted to go to Paris. I took three years of French in high school. I wanted to know Chinese because I was reading a book that had some chinese words in it and I wanted to know how to pronounce them so I wouldn't mispronounce them in my head. And my boyfriend is a little bit Chinese.

I think you already know some phrases in French @JESSY3236. Chinese is very difficult for me to learn. I watch also Chinese dramas but with undertitle. Has your boyfriend have a Chinese blood?

@Traceyjayne I have heard of Rimini but haven’t been there. I went to Rome in 1999. I want to go there again. Maybe it’s not only expensive but also full of tourists nowadays.

I'm now learning Sanskrit, both offline and online. Sanskrit is one of our oldest classical language. I will soon be able to read, understand and write Sanskrit. Now I have met a Sanskrit scholar who will talk with me and I'll be able to able to speak in Sanskrit fluently.

. My friends are German, Filipinos and Italian and when we meet together, there are lots of talking in 3 different languages, German, Italian and Tagalog (the Filipino language).
Thank you @shaggin.

Learning Italian would be great for you!
I have an ongoing course on a technical specialization.
The course is long with a number of new concepts and is taking time.
Yet I am trying to focus on learning the concepts well enough.
Have a nice Sunday ahead!

Molto bene! (Very good in Italian . . . I only know a little bit
).
I love languages! I try to learn the basic phrases of any language . . . hello, thank you, etc . . . it's fun to be able to communicate with others when the opportunity comes. Enjoy your class - wish I could join you!

just yesterday, i heard people talking italian in a tram. i once attended some basic italian language course, organised by college students but it was more about the culture, not so about grammar. also, those language levels were always frustrating to me. a1.1, a1.2 and others. all in all, good luck and ignore my grumpiness
i also think it's great you will practice your italian with actual italian speakers.
i am currently motivated for chinese lunar year to come, for now
