18 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from another cold night and getting colder in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Temps begin plunging tonight. They're talking -34 F windchill overnight and through Monday, possibly longer. I didn't see temps warm up before Wednesday next week.
It was a good day today. A friend at the Winter Market told me I have a way of making something positive out of a negative situation. I told her I always look at the bright side.
I'm thankful for the Winter Market. I sold one book. Between the four of us, we sold five books. I also remembered to buy some cheese. I've forgotten to get it at the store the last few times I was there. I also bought a book from one of the other gals from Writer's Guild. It sounds really good. I look forward to reading it.
I'm thankful for the time I was here before I left this morning. I got as much as I could done before I needed to leave and saw what you were doing in your world.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe just now. I finished chapter 9. The changes and story are coming along well.
I'm thankful I have all my steps on both Google Fit, and the Fitbit. I only need to get the last hours steps for the Fitbit and I'm done for the day. I'll do that now, since it just turned 5 PM.
I'm thankful for my neighbor. We watched a little TV together and she offered supper, Hamburger Helper Lasagna. It was good. I know she added to it to make it better.

I am very thankful that I got a box of goodies from a mylot pal. Also, as usual thankful I got heer safe after a long drivey. You had a good day for sure!!

I'm thankful the weather warmed up nice and it's not to cold in the house. I'm thankful that George let me clean his stoma. I've been trying to clean it on the daily. I'm thankful I got ths tube flushed, too.

I am glad you had a good day, Valerie.
We stayed quietly at home. It was cold and icy outside, because that little warm up melted some of the snow yesterday and then froze back up to make the streets slippery again. It will not melt again for nearly a week now. But I am very thankful to have a home and a furnace and food to feed my son and myself. I know in today's world, many don't have that, and I certainly don't take it for granted.

Like I said, I try to not take any of that for granted...so many don't have anything at all, or a home or food. I am truly thankful.

I'm glad you had a good day today at the winter market and progress made on your book!
I'm thankful for a quiet day at home. I did have to run out and get coffee for the hubby. He forgot to tell me that he was almost out. I did start working on re-stock for boutique today, but did not get it all done in order to get it to the store before they closed at 1 pm. After the thaw!

@just4him It is what it is! It's been a crazy week here with records set with low temperatures here and snow! We got almost 5 inches and still a lot on the ground. The sun was out for most of the day and got it started melting away. Another night in low teens tonight. I'm SO ready for Spring!!

Wow -34? That is very cold. I thought this morning was cold with 9F degrees and a windchill of -4F degrees.
That sounds like a good day, always good to have things to be thankful for.

@just4him Sounds more like brutally cold! Here it was 9 but feels like -1 when I took Eli to school this morning.
