My Lunch.

It is Tuesday at 12:20pm and the temperature is 29C. Sun is shining brightly outside but I don't want to go outside and cherish the cooler atmosphere..I am not ready yet for summer heat. For those who are experiencing the super cold weather there, I wish to bring you sunshine

. This is my lunch for today, omelette with ground pork. Vegetables prices here are terribly expensive. What's for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

I thought that looked like an eggroll. Why are veggie prices so expensive? In a tropical country it seems like they wouldn't be expensive as you can probably grow them year round..although some might not do well in your climate.

It is an eggroll with ground pork inside. Inflation. vegetables are so expensive. Most of the vegetables comes from other provinces

I cooked scrambled eggs with onions and sweet peppers with a ground pork patty for breakfast and will probably have that again in the morning. I didn't eat lunch today because I slept through the time I usually eat lunch (around 5 pm). I made ground beef, diced onions, rotini noodles and a four cheese sauce for my supper tonight at 10 pm. It was still well below freezing here this afternoon but we saw quite a bit of sunshine through the kitchen windows. (Those are the only windows in the house that don't have blackout curtains over them. Our house is always dark. Too much light hurts my eyes.) Our temp right now is -15C and supposed to get colder before morning.

I like the sound of the four-cheese sauce!! Good to have that one window open. My eyes are photo sensitive too at times

@rakski The light sensitivity is part of the problems created by the thyroid imbalance that makes my eyes swell closed. The four cheese sauce is one of my favorites.

Hello glad to meet you. I also experience summer and it makes me lazy to do activities. My breakfast is usually fried rice or chicken porridge and my dinner is usually spicy squid.
