American Flag on Mars

i am worried about what happens after the four-year term. If the socialists come back in power, we are done.

@Shivram59 They call them Democrats here but they are not the old democrats from earlier days. I don't know what happened but it is all different now.

@akalinus I think every country in the world has now realized what happens when socialists come to power. Many countries have chooen to elect right wing parties. I don't think the trend is going to change. In next four years much more will get changed. No country is going to elect leftists as ruler.

Yes, what you put your mind to, you can do. You might fail repeatedly but someday it could happen.

@akalinus too many to be named. Not many have insurances enough to reinstate their own life back.

That would be good. There are many people homeless because of natural disasters.

@akalinus I hope he can see those and do something about those first and make them a priority.

@rakski I think he is acting way too fast. I think they should secure the border before deporting people. I think they should start with criminal terrorist gangs in apartment houses. But that is just me. My thoughts are just mine, his thoughts are not mine.

There are many problems in America. Many places look like third-world countries. There are ramshackle tent cities. Trash is everywhere and children are hungry. They put up many immigrants in luxury hotels and give them debit cards that they call "forever cards" because the money never runs out. Citizens here are not that lucky.

Can you explain more about how you feel about that?

I am sure you are right. What do you think about Trump's statement at the inauguration?

@akalinus l didn't hear the full speech. I mostly watched the beginning when the dignitaries were entering.

The time will come when you don't care if you can go to other planets. I am at that point but there are others.

I would be more focused on problems here at home. There are plenty of priorities like homelessness and hunger among myriad others.

@akalinus I think those are more important too. Landing on Mars should be a very low priority.
