Hawk rescued by technicians after crashing into in a front grill of a SUV

Judy Harmon was driving her Honda auto on Interstate 495 in Chelmsford Massachusetts on Thursday January 16 when a red tailed hawk collided with her auto and was stuck on the front grill.
After the Massachusetts State Police Officer and an animal control officer were not able to remove the hawk from the grill.
The officials and the driver to a mechanical shop in Westford where a service director named Stan Dehktyar was able to free the hawk from the grill from the SUV safely.
The hawk is being treated for injuries that the animal suffered in the accident and is expected to recover and return to the forest.

I know. There was a news sometime ago, that a service engineer was trying to work on the aircraft fans and motors...I mean servicing. Because of the tight schedule, the pilots did not want to wait and so started the engine, effectively drawing the engineer in, and the fan shredded him into pieces.

The poor hawk must have been very tightly wedged in there, and it appears it took some effort to get it out.
It is good that it will recover, and be returned to the wild.
