January total

I’ve read five (poetry) books since I finished Anna Karenina.
And there was a tiny poetry book I read before reading the Tolstoy novel.
My total for January is seven books.
I may end the month with eight books if I read another poetry book tomorrow.
This is pretty good considering I had that very long novel tackle.
I thought I’d end the month with just two books but I will end it with at least seven.

I wish I could read books. I never made my goal of even one book last year Leenie.

@RebeccasFarm I wish you didn’t have to move a lot. That’s a big hassle and an inconvenience.

That's awesome that you are reading so much! I used to be an avid reader until my eyes started going bad. But I just got glasses a couple of weeks ago, so now that I can see clearly again I should go back to reading books again!

@lovebuglena I had reading glasses for a while, but even with them it was hard to read books. But I finally went to the eye doctor and got an examination and then ordered a pair of prescription glasses. They're progressive lenses, they have three different focal points so that I can see clearly in all situations. And now I can see even more clearly than when I was just using reading glasses.

I'm stuck reading Hitler's book. I am finally on his volume which I think will be shorter. I decided to listen to The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu. It's getting really good.
