Firefighters with the Cape Coral Fire Department answered an emergency call from a concerned citizen about a 10 foot alligator that was trapped inside a storm drain on Monday. The firefighters teamed up with the Florida Fish And Wildlife Commission to use a brush truck winch to lift the cover of the drain and assist a trapper to remove the alligator from the storm drain safely. The alligator was then taken to a truck where the alligator will be taken to an alligator farm where the alligator can live out the remainder of his life. Link is wpbf.com/article/10-foo...

It is a good question how the alligator wound up in the storm drain.

In Kentucky, they deal with dogs. In Florida, it’s gators.

You would need to be very careful removing an alligator from anywhere.

An alligator farm? Perhaps, eventually, he will be turned into handbags then?

It is likely what will happen to the alligators at the end of their lives.
