I had a teleconsult with a doctor a few days ago and I asked her about my right low back which I frequently experience nowadays. I am not sure if it's because of my weight or too much sitting. I have also a little tingling sensation at times on sides of my right thigh. The doctor referred me to a rehab doctor. Hopefully I can find one near me.
How are you all doing today?

Oh no, I believe that could be a precursor to sciatica, which I have had for some time. All of the above is the cause. Being overweight and sitting for extended periods of time can compress your back, impinge on your nerves, and cause a tingling sensation in your leg. I had multiple physical therapy sessions, which helped to some extent, but the pain kept coming back. Rather than using conventional medicine, I tried alternative medicine, such as a chiropractor, and it stopped and helped me a lot more.

I have also used a chiropractor when my back was so locked up and in pain I could not even move. I don't wish that on anyone.
I now religiously do stretching exercises the chiropractor recommended to keep my back muscles loose.

If the pain continues right down your limb then it could be sciatica.

@rakski Since you say it is on one side it could be sciatica. Tingling has to do with nerves.

Rehab should help. Many people get this kind of discomfort. Often it is from the sciatic nerve, and special exercises help a lot.

Better than you at least physically anyway.
. Your pain could be kidney related as well. Are you drinking enough water?

Maybe you are working too much, take care of your body. You can always leave the house chores and other activities you have in a week, they will not runaway from you, lol! Just rest if you need too. Health is wealth.
