A Murmuration

Have you heard of these? A dance of starlings is called a murmuration. It is a spectacular sight. Thousands of starlings fly in a synchronized pattern. The collective flapping of their wings sounds like a rustling waterfall as they swirl and swoop and twist across the sky, the groups grow larger and move in unison.
Experts think they might do this to protect themselves from predators and to keep warm. This happens in the winter months.

We have great amounts of geese that go over. That is quite a sight to behold.
