Whoa! What a Job!

I just finished about 2.5 hours of cleaning out my computer. I had so many pictures I don't need and when you figure I write between 3 and 5 posts on here every day(and I was saving them for the longest time) I had a lot to go through. Also, I updated my final info for the kids. My computer finally told me it had enough and I had no more room. Sure I could get Cloud but why? I don't want some other site with all my information somewhere. I keep all my important stuff on a thumb drive. I wouldn't pay a monthly fee to have some site hold my stuff. What if it gets hacked? No, thanks. So, I got a lot of stuff deleted, put elsewhere, or re-arranged. Feels good to have all that done.

Well mor power to you. I use cloud storage, because it's safe. and encrypted. I'm not worried about it being hacked, because the hacker would need my devices to break the encryption and most people it's not worth the effort.

One way which I actually store photos will be to share them in my whatsapp group so that I could delete my photo in my hard drive so that at any case, if i need the photos again, I will retrieve the photos from the group.

That's a good idea. I have a thumb drive for pictures and one for my writing and other documents.

@celticeagle Remember to check and use the thumb drive often. Thumb drives then to expire after a few years so you may want to consider an additional backup.

I did the same thing during the night last night. I didn't spend quite that long doing it but I do have more room on my laptop now. I don't trust cloud storage online, either. Why pay some site to hold my stuff when they could get hacked. I don't have anything to hide but it's my stuff and nobody needs to go through it.
