Just Another Day at the Bauer's

No dollar signs on the 15th? Should we be worried? I guess we will have to wait and see, but that seems a bit unusual to say the least.
Went to Ollies and got a couple of things. I was a little disappointed that they did not have my Martinson coffee. Oh well. Maybe next time. It's just a good price is all, and I do have coffee on my list that will need to be replenished soon.
Next up will probably be the large can at Walmart, Great Value brand.
Happened to stop by Save-a-Lot in the area near Ollies just to check their egg prices. $5.47 a dozen. Nope. They stayed in the store. The cheapest I saw were on Thursday at Ruler's at $3.99.
I have a sneaking suspicion we may be out of eggs for a while. I only have one egg left. Not very useful, and I got that last two dozen at $1.99 each.
That was my day. How did yours go?

Where you shop? My sister will not stop buying them 10 dollars for 12 here. I told her lets buy a chicken, stop paying that. What money you talking about, don't say social security. My sister will burn this place to the ground.

I noticed that too We will have to wait
I had a bad day yesterday - no online activity I thought I had recharged but later after requesting someone to recharge for me I noticed my misake I had recharged with something with Inernational roaming for a day It was a mistake and I lost my money.

@id_peace It is the same here and I mistook it for another charge that lasts for 56 days.

@allknowing Oh my god. Is there any way they can waiver off some charges or give you a little discount for the honest mistake made?

I did get paid, it was just a later than usual payment. Sometimes it's late evening when the dollar signs show up.

@porwest Same. I aalmost qquit the site entirely. I don't know what drew me back, but I'm glad they're still paying. But, if that stopped, I don't think I'd stick around.

@kaylachan Me either. And every time it stops working, like it did AGAIN recently, I get demotivated and find other things to do—I've been relatively inactive on the site for the past two days and trying to get my mojo back now. lol

I got a bit worried something may have been up because so often the dollar signs show up a couple of days before the 15th but rarely don't happen after the 15th, although I can't recall a time they didn't happen AT LEAST on the 15th, and with all the down times this past month, I thought, oh crap, here we go. lol
Luckily it was for naught.
It's not even really about the money. I love using the site. At the same time, I have also been clear if the small incentive didn't exist, neither would my presence exist here.

You should download the Ibotta app on your phone and go back and buy the eggs. Ibotta will give you back $2.50 for a dozen eggs you buy as long as you can give them the QR code from the store. That will bring Ruler's eggs in below $2 a dozen.

@DaddyEvil I think you guys have Schnuck's in Springfield, don't you? Maybe that's too far for Schnuck's to go, but I swear I saw some there when I frequented the area on my business trips.

I might eventually look into that. Right now I only use Upside, but it wouldn't apply to individual items, and the only grocery store on the app right now is Schnucks, which also happens to be the second most expensive store in town next to Dierbergs.
