It feels a lot like spring

Today our high was 52 F--that is right around 11C. More than half the snow is gone, and it was sunny and pleasant. I look forward to more of the same for about a week. We had church today, of course, and visited a bit afterwards. I also went to buy more eggs (ouch) and bananas. We ate sandwiches that I got at the store--roast turkey and Havarti cheese on a seeded bread. Both of us napped. Bruno helped. I stretch our eggs by making casseroles or quiches with them. We also use them for baking. I will probably never completely give them up. I will cut out something else instead. I did not sleep well last night, so I will probably go early tonight. Bob has an EKG tomorrow for his cardiologist and then the cataract surgery is Tuesday. He will go by himself tomorrow, but Tuesday he has to have a driver, so that is me. At school our staff is pretty much back but many of them are still tired in recovery from type A influenza. Our kids are back. I think they are pretty well. The most I got done this weekend was to hang an extra closet rod for Bob and to take out all the trash, because Monday is trash day. I hope things are good for you.
