I finally figured it out

I had a lot of leg cramps last night, and woke up with a headache. It turns out that I had not taken my evening meds last night. Actually I had missed them three times in the last two weeks.
In my evening meds I have an allergy medicine. By the end of the day today I was feeling like my sinuses were my chief headache problem. Of course, I had missed the allergy med. And my magnesium supplement. The magnesium supplement helps me not to have headaches, and muscle cramps. So I did take my evening medicine. I also used an extra dose of Flonase nasal spray. That is a suggestion from my doctor.
Coffee, pain relievers, and extra sleep had not erased the headache, but I am better now, just in time for bed.

When you know the cause of the problem, it becomes easier

I had an appointment for a med check today, and the doctor says the changing barometric pressure is causing a lot of people to have headaches.

I'm glad you figured it out! I was really getting worried about you!
Once in a while I forget my evening meds, too. The only one of my evening meds that is REALLY important is the BP med... I can tell if I've missed it but not until my BP is WAY too high.

I just get really busy sometimes and then when I look at my med tray I know there is a problem.

@Laurakemunto It's really easy to do. I start reading a book and forget anything else. Sometimes I don't even notice what time it is until I start getting dizzy and then I realize I've forgotten my meds... Pretty is usually busy, too, so she doesn't think to remind me.

Probably because at night you would like to just relax and enjoy your meal.

Yes, dehydration can also cause muscle cramps. I am pretty good about staying on top of how much I drink when I am home, but you are correct, it can cause problems.

Doctor also says that the wildly changing barometric pressure is a problem as well.

They say the calcium deficiency may cause leg cramps.

The supplement I take has calcium, magnesium, zinc and vitamin D3. It really does help.

Doctor also says that the current changes in the barometric pressure are also to blame for so many people having headaches.

Glad you are feeling better, that sounds like a horrible combination.
I had a sudden attack of muscle cramps in my legs a couple of weeks ago. Never experienced anything like it before! I had gone to bed early-ish when I suddenly woke up about midnight with terrible cramp in both lower legs. No idea what brought that on and I was really hoping this wasn't something that would happen often as it was SO painful! Thankfully it hasn't happened again since then. So you really have my sympathy

Drinking a swallow of pickle juice is supposed to help. Yes, those leg cramps can be awful.

@GardenGerty Is that just because it's salty? I don't really know what pickle juice is over there.

I just always take it when I come to the table to eat because some of them have to be taken with meals.
