I am trying to not snack and drink too many sugary things. Even lemonade and juice are poor dietary choices if you do it a lot. I was hungry or so I thought, and I had finished a large lemonade, so I decided to do something different. I have "broth base"--I believe it is less salty than bouillon--and drank a large tumbler of warm chicken broth. It took care of hungry, thirsty, and cough sensations. My two front doors also face north. Wind blows in at the bottom. The weather stripping around the top and sides is good, though. Usually I just put a rug at the bottom, but today I decided to be a little bit of a smarty. I had two pool noodles. I cut them to fit in between the interior doors and the storm doors. Looks much nicer and it really does the trick at stopping the breeze. So those are my two successes that were cheap and effective this afternoon.

It's good to stop draughts getting in however you do it. It makes a big difference.

Once in a while my BP drops and Pretty brings me a small glass of warmed up bone broth. It has enough salt in it that it brings my BP back up without sending it shooting to the moon. It's also good in several ways for your health as long as you drink it in moderation. Do the pool noodles match your decorating scheme?

Pool noodles....I will have to try that. I use rugs at both of our doors to help stop the wind from coming in.
