A dog rescued by firefighters and animal control officers who fell into a well

Thanks to the teamwork of the Longview Fire Department as well as The Longview Animal Care And Adoption Center who answered an emergency call about a dog that fell down a well which is located under a house on Tuesday February 25.
Rescuers climbed into the small crawlspace underneath the house to rescue the dog who had been trapped for a period of time that has yet to be determined,
The good news is that the dog is in good condition and one of the rescuers intends to adopt the dog if no one claims the dog that was rescued as their own.

It is very hard to rescue a dog inside of a well.

Glad the dog is all right just wonder how he got in the well in the first place. Seems odd that he would jump in there,

The dog most likely fell into the well by accident due to darkness.

So am I happy that the dog was rescued by the firefighters and animal control officers rescued the dog.

It seems strange that anyone would have a well under their house, but the entrances under the house should have been more sturdy to stop animals, such as this dog, from falling into it. It was good that somebody reported the incident and that the dog was rescued.
