I have the back of an old toilet tank in my yard. I grow catnip in it.
Bruno never noticed it last year, when it was growing and tall. It has reseeded itself and come up. He discovered it. Bruno has been trying to roll in the catnip, and has been tasting it and digging in it. Of course when I came for a picture he stood up and was not nearly so cute.
He is a big kitty. His tail was hanging outside the tank, he had his head down close to the growing plants. He sat up when I approached him. I do not know if he will leave it alone long enough for it to grow this year. We shall see.

I had a smaller kitty that did that. I think this may have gone to seed in another planter, we shall see.

I think it seeded itself in the large planter next to him. It was a hot water heater from about 1950 and my dad cut it so it is a trough like planter.

Bruno is a handsome kitty.
When our Buttons was young, she didn't react much to catnip but when she aged some and heard us get the bag of it, she went wild. Ginger never got into it her whole life. Funny how each is different with likes/dislikes.
