Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 52 degrees F and pouring rain here at the Jersey Shore. Yuck.
I'm done with in-person work for the day and am back at the apartment with the cat crew. I have an hour of tutoring this afternoon. I texted my mother and asked her if we could do dinner next week. I am exhausted from being up so late last night. 
Of course I would do it all over again if he wants to stop by tonight. 
There was a funny smell when I walked in here earlier. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Finally I realized it was the daffodil I took from the house last week. Yuck. It is now in the garbage.
After tutoring I have to make dinner. At least that is the plan. We'll see if I can manage to stay awake. 
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Nothing exciting here today, and that is more than fine with me! Tomorrow, several appointments, etc. so it will be a full day. That's good that you moved your dinner with your mother to a time you won't be so tired out.

It's going to be another stinking hot day here. Maybe we'll stay indoors and play cards. Vince's brother is here and quite enjoys a game of cards occasionally.
