Do You Have Any Weekend Plans?

I don't have anything major planned. My husband is on-call and can only be about 20 minutes from his work. He drives a heavy tow truck, which means he tows semi's, box trucks, utility trucks and such. It's been awhile since I've been on a run with him, but if he gets a call, perhaps I will go with him tomorrow.
What do you have planned for the weekend?

A tow truck run might be interesting. I was away last weekend, so not doing anything this weekend except probably going to visit the local church permanent yard sale place. They always have good stuff.

I stayed home today because of all the flash flooding and the mudslide on the Gene Snyder Freeway. 
Plenty of food to eat, plenty of work to do in spring cleaning, so I’ll stay here where I’m safe and dry.

Oh, I hadn't heard about the mud slide on the Gene Snyder. I'm sure there will be more mud slides and flooding with the rain that we are predicted to get over the weekend.

@kareng Well we wound up not doing that, because we had an appoitment yesterday. But, now that George can drive, we can get more done. I already told him we'll need to go out again this week, because.

Is this the one that is on Dixie ? I've heard of it for years, but have never attended. Perhaps something I can put on my to do...once I retire.

@terri0824 That one that I mentioned is actually in Louisiana on Hwy. 16 from Amite, LA 16 miles headed North.
I just found out about a 28 mile one in Mississippi that I want to check out. I have to find where I put that note with the date on it..

I plan on staying in the house where it's dry and warm and watching/listening to the storms going through my part of the US. I'm hoping the low-lying areas don't flood as badly as the meteorological reports are showing right now.

Nothing much. I will go with the flow. Anyway it's vacation time for me and weekend don't hold the same value as they do otherwise. My husband is gone for his school reunion and will be back only on Monday evening.

I hope that they will be quiet next two weeks because it's Holy week. After Easter Sunday, I hope that I can go outside for vacation to make myself feeling good all the time.
