When the FHP officers were able to catch the female Pit Bull and take her to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSCO) to join their Paws and Stripes dog program so when she graduates, the dog who is being called "Taylor Swift" since the dog has swift moves when she was being chased by the police.
Taylor the dog next assignment will be providing support to persons who are in a tragic accident or comfort in the court system as a member of the police department which is better than putting her down.

Recruited into the Sherriff's office, that is a good result for a dog running amok before.

You are right that the police decided to adopt the dog to join their family.
