Greece - good or not good?

The Aer Lingus app tells me that I’ll be landing in Athens in 26 days, as will my wife and daughter. A taxi will whip us away to Piraeus where we hope to overnight at a port side hotel with a roof top bar, and next day a flying dolphin will carry us over the sea to the island of Aegina. Have you been to Greece? Did you like being there or not? Why? FYI the correct answer is that it’s wonderful.

@judyev First time I was there when I was about 17 it was most primitive and non-developed - a paradise. Pity about what mass tourism can do to a good beach. The island I go to is not a tourist resort thankfully.

I hope you and your family enjoy your time in Greece. I've only been out of the US a short distance into Mexico years ago. I went to bring a school friend back to the US. (His parents were Mexican and moved back there after my friend graduated and took him with them. He was born here and wanted to come back...) We had a nice drive and just had to show our US driver's licenses to get back into the US.
