People in Missouri set a Guiness Record for wearing banana hats in one venue / myLot

Guinness World Record being made in St. Louis Missouri this month

Lake Charles, Louisiana

I know this sounds like an odd story since officials of the Guinness World Record of having 309 people dressed wearing banana hats at the St. Louis City Museum on April 2. An official with the Guiness World Record was present when 309 persons showed up inside of the museum to set a new world record with the help of Explore St. Louis, Slamon St. Louis and Rasta Imposta Costumes. That is true since I have heard of comic book conventions but never heard of people dressing up in banana costumes in one building.

That is an odd one. Guiness is renowned for sponsoring some unusual records! Here are a few more bizarre ones: 1. Most people brushing their teeth simultaneously by 10,800 students in Manilla, Philippines. They brushed their teeth for 3 minutes straight. 2. The most canned drinks opened by a parrot.
