Are there any museums you’d like to visit?

I would love to visit the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia. It has all sorts of medical fascinations. I’m not usually one for museums, but when I saw a TV piece done by Mike Rowe back in 2016 on his then show, “Someone’s Gotta Do It” I was fascinated. What about you guys?

I love history, and museums are so interesting. I want to go back to the Smithsonian, too. I like little museums as well, that some small towns have built to honor their history. I find it all very interesting.

I think I have heard of that museum as well. It was on the Mysteries at the Museum cable show. That would be interesting. I am longing to go back to the Smithsonian. I would visit the Museum of the American Indian most probably as when I was living in the area, they were just building it. However, I did get to tour part of it one time. I remember I bought a fry bread mix..from the gift shop..but I don't think I ever made it. Also, Smithsonian's American History museum is another good one. I would go there as well.

My sister loved The Smithsonian; she said she’d like to go back. She said her favorite museum in Washington D.C. was Planet Word Museum. Did you ever get to go there? I had not heard of it until she told me about it.

@AmbiePam I never heard of it. DC has a lot of great museums. They also have a spy museum there, but that is not part of the Smithsonian. There is an admission price.

I enjoy all things medical too. Have you ever read any books by Robin Cook? He's a doctor; so all his books are very accurate when he talks about medical procedures, etc.

Hm. I never really thought about it. I wouldn't mind going to a science museum. I guess you wouldn't really call it a "museum", but I enjoyed the Exploratorium when I was a kid.

I am a keen museum visitor, I always find something interesting and spend ages reading all the little details. I like ones that have a mixture of things; too much of one subject I just find all too overwhelming.

One of my best friends is like that. She’ll read every single thing on every single plaque. It doesn’t both me. I can’t stand up long due to a back injury, so I take pictures of the plaques, find a place to sit, and read away!

There is a science museum in Charlotte, NC that I have been to many times. Last year my boyfriend and I visited it. There is a natural museum in Gastonia, NC that I have been to many times. I love it. And another natural museum close to where I live. My boyfriend and I visited it about two years ago.

The salt and pepper museum sounds weird enough for me. I’d like to go to the Hair Museum in Kansas City too.
