Missing dog that ran away from home two weeks ago is found

It is a strange mystery how a male dog named Huey managed to travel from Utah to Texas in a span of two weeks when the owner reported her dog missing from her home when a friend of her was taking care of the dog earlier this month by running away.
My belief is that a stranger picked up Huey and gave him a ride to Collin County in Texas where he was picked up as a stray dog and taken to the Collin County Animal Shelter when veterinarians who saw that the dog had a microchip.
The owner of Huey was notified by the veterinarian that Huey will be coming home after the community in Collin County to raise money to transport Huey back to Utah next week.

That is good that the community chipped in to pay the transport home for Huey, as otherwise, the owner would have had a hefty bill to cough up.

You are right that Huey's owner who is a single mom with three kids would have to work hard to raise the money to bring back her dog,
