The American Farmers are very concerned.
Things have not been going great for the last 10 years..I pulled that out of my limited knowledge of this, but it is clear to me that farms are being ravaged by policies as well as climate.
For instance, in my locale, a popular farm food supply site has near to closing down.
They had lovely farm fresh foods and were at one time, thriving. Sad.
Well, let's see how this pans out.
No wonder prices are going up and many farms are being closed down.
How are farms where you live, what shape are they in, do you know?

I understand your concerns about the state of farming and the challenges farmers are facing. It’s disheartening to hear about the decline of local farms, especially ones that used to thrive. Here in my area, many farms are also struggling due to a combination of rising costs, changing weather patterns, and market pressures. Some have pivoted to different crops or adopted new practices to adapt, but it's a tough road. It really impacts our food system and local economies when these farms can't operate sustainably. Have you noticed any initiatives or support programs in your community that might help?

With respect. The Guardian is a leftist propaganda machine who reports lies and half-truths. Don't believe them. Just another hit piece on Trump filled with misinformation. We have always had extremes of weather throughout our existence.
P.S.- Trump loves the farmers one of his constituents and will find a way to take care of them while he negotiates tariffs with all the countries ripping us off.

Oh yes I agree with the extremes of weather DB.
I just know that the farmers have it tough either way.
Of course, with respect, I understand the media is not upfront in generally thanks.
