Teenagers jump into a river to rescue a driver who had a medical emergency

Louisville Metro Police Department officers and firefighters answered an emergency call on Monday evening when they received an emergency call from a teenager who informed the authorities that a male driver who suffered a medical emergency when the male driver drove the automobile into the Ohio River at the Greenwood Boat Ramp.
By the time that the authorities arrived at the scene of the accident, they saw two male teens jumping into the river to rescue the driver.
The third teenager teamed up with his companions to assist the officers to help secure the auto to get out of the river.
The male driver was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital to be taken care of by the medical personnel.
The Louisville Metro Police Department are grateful that the three teenagers and bystanders did their part to save the male driver from dying by drowning in the river.

It was good that the man could be saved and that he will be assessed at the local hospital to ascertain what caused his medical episode. It was good that the teens rose to the occasion to help save the sunken driver.
