Officials in a zoo in New York using drones to locate s missimg beaver

Officials with the Utica Zoo in New York are planning to use drones to find a male beaver named Cauliflower who is two years of age managed to escape on Wednesday evening April 16.
The beaver has been missing for over a week which has caused the zoo executive director Andria Heath to contact a local drone operator to try and locate Cauliflower who came from a zoo in Minnesota a few weeks ago to look for a female friend.
Hopefully Cauliflower will be found safe and sound soon.

I do hope they find him soon. Using a drone is an excellent idea. He has been gone a while so let's hope he has found a safe place beside a river. Maybe he has already found a female friend. He might not want to be found.

That is true since I had a dog that is no longer with us named Cienfuegos which is a city in Cuba.

I wonder if that beaver had cauliflower ears, being so named.
The Zoo, need to provide more secure habitats, for their animals, if such escapes are possible, as this one.

Most likely why the beaver is called Cauliflower due to his ears.
