It is late Saturday evening at just after 4pm here. I thought I would throw up a post real quick. I've been going through notifications, but have a lot more to go.
Today my hubby and I both took a walk outside. It was nice to be outside for awhile. The sun is shining, the birds singing and the temperature was nice and warm, but not hot. Perfect!
I checked on the garden. I had planted some corn seed last week and was happy to see that it was popping up. We didn't have any luck with corn last year. I think we got it planted too late, so hoping for a better return this year!
I sat outside and enjoyed it all for about 20 minutes.
I am headed back to the bedroom now for a mini nap! Yep, still taking it easy here!

It was not so sunny here today but still quite warm and I think I preferred it without the sun.
I hope that your corn does better than it did last year.
20 minutes out on the fresh air would have been good for you.
We went out on the bike to a couple of local towns and then back to our holiday place along the back coastal road where I could drive at 30mph and enjoy the scenery.
I hope you have a good nap

Sounds like a great little ride!
I actually didn't get the nap. The man came inside, he mowed the yard today so that blew quiet in the bedroom for a nap.Then he was hungry. So we figured out dinner. But on the good side, I got a lot of notifications done and some reading here. So I'm almost caught up!

@Ineeddentures Right at 3 acres, but he has a riding mower so not too hard to accomplish that feat.

Getting the yard mowed was a plus though.
Is it a big yard?
Notifications only take me a few minutes as not that many..

It was a little too chili for me so I didn't get any thing done today
it was 1 of them days where I didn't have my mojo in action.

@2ndchances24 I is what it is. I will do what I can and then stop and rest. Pushing it won't help my foot or leg heal. So I need to be careful.

I woke up a little over an hour ago, washed dishes and re-heated the chicken and biscuits Pretty made last night and ate them for lunch.
It's storming here right now and I heard it raining earlier... No going outside today although the older neighbor mowed his yard and our back yard around noon while it was sprinkling. At least that part is done now.

My daughter and I went to our community's local spring parade of homes. There were 25 homes in the parade this year, I think we visited about 15 of them over the course of the day. We love looking at new home designs and styles, even though I'm not in the market for a new home. And, like you, I needed a nap when we were done! lol

I'm sorry for responding to your post late.Today is Monday. The heat has come down a bit.It was cloudy in the afternoon. May be tomorrow we will have rain. I'm not so sure though.
