North Charleston Police Department Officer Sergeant Lizarazo acted on his desire to live up to his oath to serve and protect citizens of his city when he was able to prevent a man who attempted to jump off of the Ashley Phosphate at the Interstate 26 overpass late last week.
Officer Lizarazo did prevent the man who wanted to end his life by allowing the man who wanted to end his life by listening to the man without passing any judgement on the man he was talking to.
Officer Lizarazo was able to convince the man who wanted to jump off of the bridge that ending his life is worth it all.
I am sure that the man who wanted to jump off of the bridge that was rescued by the police officer will be getting medical help for whatever problems are bothering him.

Officer Lizarazo did a good thing.
I just hope his efforts prove to be worth it and that the man who wanted to end his life gets the help he needs.

It would be very hard to talk someone out of ending their life.

The Officer must have talked wisely to the man to change his mind on this, as so often, these types are set in their mind to end their life.
Even the best of us sometimes see little value in life, and this type of thinking must be addressed, and the person helped to see past his depressed wired thoughts.
