AI responds differently

I just read somewhere that AI responds differently to different users even though the question may be identical. I wonder if they get to know the user's background before getting those answers. But strangely I have noticed the moment I pose a question the answer is given in a matter of seconds What do you think?

Even if the same person asks the exact same question, AI can respond to it differently each time it's asked... I'm not sure how to explain the reasoning behind that, though. It's complicated...

And that too you get the answer in split seconds. And also the answers look genuine with a lot of research done

@allknowing You need to remember something about AI. The different AIs around the internet are huge machines with the capacity to do a lot of things all at the same time. They can access data MUCH faster than a human can so time means very little to them so it seems like they know what they're talking about when they might and might not. I was reading an article about AI that said in some cases, AI can give accurate data but not to depend on it being accurate. Anything an AI tells you needs to be fact checked before you use it for anything.

@DaddyEvil That is scary then. Fact check with whom?

I never notice that friend. Though there are times that the response to the question is not acceptable so we have to rephrase the question or make a search through other ways. Maybe the answer depends on what they have in their database.

@allknowing I have read that, do not fully trust AI. Even AI asks us not to fully trust them too. I read that now they tell you where the source comes from or how they come to that response (reasoning), you can check out those sources and reasoning to see if they are trusted. I haven't explore much about AI yet, but it's really something I need to learn.

@kaka135 With all these buts and ifs I wonder if we should really seek answers from AI May as well stick to our trusted Sites.

Sometimes it also asks me if I would like to get a different response. I think there are many possibilities and AI might also remember some of our background info.

That is quite likely but they must stick to the question and not bother about our personality

I've been a curious "searcher". I used to search for specific terms with my mobile and laptop. Interestingly, it gave different answers on two different devices. That was fun. I then used the phones of my other family members, and again the answers were not quite matching. Like they say, two people cannot be cured with the same medicine. That's why the same disease may need different solutions. In a way, I think is also the same thing.

@allknowing I think it'll be easier for the programing people to answer. What code goes behind something is a think that has always fascinated me. But I don't have any such friend will explain things to me in detail.

AI has access to your data, the history of your browser and everything you research and you type. With the modern systems it takes seconds to compare and answer. Anyway they also give "random" answers, ask the same question several times and you will receive different answers.

That is true! It’s like the more you chat with AI, the better it gets at understanding your vibe and what you're looking for. It adapts to your style, and preferences to give you better responses making the conversation feel more natural. Its actually pretty cool but of course its not without flaws but it gets better. The more you interact with it the smoother the flow gets.

@allknowing Exactly my point! It would definitely be different because AI adapts to the user’s style, tone, and way of asking. So even if two people ask the exact same question, the answers might be factually similar but they’ll have a different vibe, tone, and flow depending on who’s asking. That’s part of what makes AI conversations feel more personal and natural over time! I hope I made that clear.

They seem to respond depending on who asks those questions.

I suppose if you asked AI if you were fat, and it somehow knew you were emotionally unstable, it might give a different answer than the truth. It’s not something I’ve noticed.
